Deadly Ailments - Dungeon Exiles 0.3.3

Hello everyone, how's it going? Today, I just have a really short devlog for you today! So, I've implemented bleed and poison as two new status effects that you can now build around, there's also some new enemy modifiers and I'll also just talk briefly about The Awakening which is Dungeon Exiles' biggest update to come! So, let's just get right into it!

What's new?

Bleed Status

There are new passives, but also a new item called the General's Battle Axe which can inflict bleed!

Poison Status

So, the Serpent's Fang doesn't directly give you a chance to inflict poison, but it's new in this update, and it will be relevant in just a second.

DoT Statuses

So, pretty much how these two statuses work is that, Bleed and Poison damage are based on your Physical and Nature Attack Damage respectively. So, for example, both Bleed and Poison deal damage equal to 20% of your Attack Damage for that element. So for example, if you deal 5-10 Physical damage, your Bleed will deal 1-2 damage. Also, it's important to note that to even inflict Bleed or Poison you need Bleed or Poison chance which can be found on items and passives

New Enemy Modifiers

So, in Dungeon Exiles 0.3.3 I've added in a few new enemy modifiers to help spice up combat! So, I'll just show off two:

Enemies can now be armoured, which provides them with increased physical damage resistance. It's worth noting that Armour only reduces the damage of hits, so Bleed damage won't be reduced by Armour... Almost like I introduced some counterplay to Armoured enemies in this very update... Crazy...

Second is Executioner, which causes enemies to deal extra damage if you are low on health. So be wary of playing risky as you may find some enemies are going to try and go for the kill on you!

What's next?

So, I know this is a very short devlog, but I've been working hard behind the scenes setting up for Dungeon Exiles' biggest update ever: The Awakening! For those who don't know, The Awakening is a massive undertaking where I have redone every single enemy in the game, and I've revamped all of the content in the game. It's not finished, but I hope I can release it next week. So, here's just a little teaser of that:
