The Cursed Crypt: The Third Floor of Dungeon Exiles 0.3.0

Hello everyone, today I am very excited to present Dungeon Exiles 0.3.0: The Cursed Crypt in which there is an entirely new floor worth of content, full of all new enemies, items, events and even a whole new room type! So, let's get into it!

What's new?

Main Menu

To start things off there is now a main menu for Dungeon Exiles that will display the current update! I feel like this was really long overdue but it makes the game feel so much more official now.

New Content: The Cursed Crypt

But this is what you're here for, isn't it? So you'll notice that within the Cursed Crypt there is a new room type called the Dark Crossroads in which you can choose your fate. If you choose to partake you'll be offered one of three new Chaos Cards. I don't want to spoil them, but I'll show off a few here:

Chaos Cards

Chaos Cards offer you a powerful upside but with a heavy cost. If your build can handle the downside you'll find a whole new type of power!

New Enemies

Within the Cursed Crypt, you'll fight against all new ethereal foes!

New Boss: Wraithlord Valandros

Now that Dungeon Exiles officially has three floors it means that Cyromancer Valthorin has been dethroned as the final boss of the game! To win a run of Dungeon Exiles you'll now have to slay Wraithlord Valandros!

New Items

There are many new items introduced in Dungeon Exiles 0.3.0 and I don't want to spoil all of them, but here's one of the spicy ones! The Vampiric Abyssal Blade which grants you extra Shadow Damage to your attacks, increased Critical Strike Chance and restores 1 Health on every Crit. Honestly this item may be completely broken, but we'll see how it goes!

New Backgrounds: Necropolis Depths and Frostbitten Catacombs

So you may have noticed that the Cursed Crypt has an all-new background and features a 32x32 per tile resolution as opposed to the regular 16x16 resolution. As good as this looks, it would have the older floors look out of place, so I've also updated the older floors to match!
